Ingredients
Scale
1 cup butter (2 sticks) 🧈
1 cup brown sugar 🍯
1 stack of Saltine crackers 🥨
1 lb. white almond bark, melted 🍫
½ package red candy melts ❤️
½ package pink candy melts 💕
Valentine-themed sprinkles ✨
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the baking sheet:
Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Arrange the Saltine crackers evenly on the tray.
2️⃣ Make the caramel layer:
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar together.
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until it thickens.
Pour the caramel evenly over the crackers, making sure they are all coated.
3️⃣ Bake the base:
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 8 minutes.
The caramel should be bubbling and slightly darkened.
4️⃣ Prepare the chocolate topping:
While the crackers are baking, melt the almond bark, red candy melts, and pink candy melts separately in the microwave (follow package instructions).
Once the cracker layer is out of the oven, pour the melted white chocolate evenly over the top.
Drizzle the red and pink candy melts over the white chocolate.
Use a fork or spatula to create a swirled effect for a beautiful design.
5️⃣ Add the finishing touches:
While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle Valentine’s sprinkles over the top.
Let the candy cool completely at room temperature (or place it in the fridge to set faster).
6️⃣ Break & serve:
Once fully cooled, break into smaller pieces and enjoy!
Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
Notes
More crunch? Add chopped pretzels or nuts before the chocolate sets. 🥜
Want it extra sweet? Drizzle milk or dark chocolate over the top. 🍫
Gluten-free option? Use gluten-free crackers instead of Saltines. 🌾🚫
