Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup water
½ cup salsa (optional for extra flavor)
1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
3 small flour tortillas
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, brown ground beef. Drain fat, then stir in taco seasoning, water, and salsa. Simmer until thickened.
In a greased pie dish, layer tortillas, beef mixture, and cheese. Repeat layers, ending with a tortilla on top.
Drape puff pastry over the top and tuck in edges. Brush with egg wash.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until puff pastry is golden and puffy.
Let cool 5 minutes, then flip the pie onto a serving plate. Slice and serve with your favorite taco toppings!
