Ingredients
• 500g beef steak (thinly sliced)
• 1/2 cup cornflour (for coating)
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 1 egg (lightly beaten)
• Oil (for frying)
• 1/2 red bell pepper (sliced)
• 1/2 onion (sliced)
• 2 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
• 1 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tsp rice vinegar (or white vinegar)
• 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
Coat beef strips in egg, then cornflour seasoned with salt and pepper.
Deep-fry or pan-fry until golden and crispy. Set aside.
In a pan, stir-fry garlic, onion, and bell pepper for 2 minutes.
Add sauces, sugar, and vinegar—cook until slightly thickened.
Toss in the fried beef and coat well. Serve hot and crispy!
