Ingredients
1 frozen banana, peeled
1 cup frozen strawberries
¼ cup milk (any variety – dairy or plant-based)
Toppings of choice: granola, chia seeds, sliced fruit, coconut flakes, nut butter, etc
Instructions
Soften fruit:
Place the banana and strawberries into your blender. Let them sit for 2–3 minutes to soften slightly.
Blend:
Start the blender on low speed, allowing it to chop the fruit into small bits.
Add milk:
Pour in ¼ cup milk. Gradually increase the blender speed until the mixture becomes smooth and thick.
Tip: Use a tamper or scrape down the sides if needed. Add a splash more milk if it’s too thick.
Serve:
Spoon the smoothie into a bowl and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
For a thicker consistency, use minimal milk and frozen fruit.
Best enjoyed fresh — but you can freeze leftovers in a popsicle mold!
Great for customizing with protein powder, spinach, or superfood boosts.
