  • Cobbler:
    • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 3/4 cup whole milk
    • 2 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
    • 1 1/2 cups flour
    • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder

    • 2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
    • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • Topping:
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour melted butter into a 9×13 baking pan.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together milk, vanilla, and sugar. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until just combined.
3️⃣ Spoon the batter over the butter, being careful not to stir.
4️⃣ Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the batter, then gently pour hot water over the top.
5️⃣ Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and mostly set.
6️⃣ Mix the topping ingredients (sugar + cinnamon) and sprinkle over the hot cobbler.
7️⃣ Let it cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate dessert experience!
