Refreshing Cherry Water

Description

On warm afternoons, my mother would hand me a tall glass of this cherry-infused water after gardening. It was our little ritual—cool, naturally sweet, and always uplifting. With just a few ingredients, you can sip on something that feels like a moment of peace.

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups water (room temperature)

5 fresh cherries, rinsed & pitted

3 fresh mint leaves, rinsed & torn

1 slice lemon (Meyer lemon if available), seeds removed

Instructions

In a large glass or pitcher, combine the water, cherries, mint leaves, and lemon slice.

Gently muddle the cherries and mint with a spoon to release their flavors.

Let it sit for at least 10 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for 30 minutes for a chilled version.

Stir and serve with ice if desired.

Notes

A naturally sweet, beautifully simple drink that hydrates and refreshes—perfect for any time of day.
