Ingredients

✔️ 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
✔️ 1 (30 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns
✔️ 2 lbs breakfast sausage (use hot for a kick!)
✔️ 2 cups milk
✔️ 8 medium eggs
✔️ ¼ tsp onion powder
✔️ ¼ tsp garlic powder
✔️ 1 tsp salt
✔️ ½ tsp pepper


Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (if baking immediately).
2️⃣ In a large skillet, cook sausage until browned, then drain and set aside.
3️⃣ In the same skillet, lightly brown hashbrowns, then transfer to a greased 9×13 casserole dish.
4️⃣ Layer the sausage and cheese on top of the hashbrowns.
5️⃣ In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder until well combined. Pour over the casserole.
6️⃣ Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
7️⃣ The next morning, bake uncovered at 350°F for 40 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
