- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a larger bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg until well combined.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just mixed. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
