Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a larger bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg until well combined.
  4. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just mixed. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
