For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 1/2 stick (56g) butter
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
For the Casserole:
- 5 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
- Add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese to a pan over medium heat. Whisk until melted and combined.
- Stir in minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
- Add parmesan cheese and bring the sauce to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes, then remove from heat.
Assemble the Casserole:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a 7″x11″ casserole dish, spread 5 cups of cubed chicken breast evenly.
- Pour the Alfredo sauce over the chicken.
- Layer toppings in this order: shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.
- Bake on the center rack for 25 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy a guilt-free, cheesy indulgence!
