Keto Big Mac Smash Burgers: A Low-Carb Twist on a Classic Favorite

For the Smash Burgers:

  • 8 street taco-sized keto zero-carb tortillas
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Keto Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 1/2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 3 tsp sugar-free ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions

Make the Smash Burgers:

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Divide into 8 equal-sized balls.
  3. Press each ball of beef onto a tortilla, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface.
  4. Place the tortilla meat-side down onto the heated skillet. Smash flat with a spatula and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the burger, place a slice of American cheese on top, and cook for another 2-3 minutes to crisp the tortilla and melt the cheese.

Make the Big Mac Sauce:

  1. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, finely chopped pickles, mustard, sugar-free ketchup, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.

Assemble the Burgers:

  1. Spread the Big Mac sauce over each burger.
  2. Top with shredded lettuce and two pickle slices per burger.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy the flavors of a Big Mac without the carbs!
