✔️ ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
✔️ ¼ cup mayonnaise
✔️ 1 large egg
✔️ 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
✔️ 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or favorite seafood seasoning)
✔️ 1 tsp garlic powder
✔️ 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
✔️ 1 tbsp lemon juice
✔️ Salt & pepper to taste
✔️ 2 tbsp olive oil (for greasing the baking sheet)
🥣 For the Dipping Sauce:
✔️ ¼ cup mayonnaise
✔️ 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
✔️ 1 tbsp lemon juice
✔️ 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
✔️ Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper & grease with olive oil.
2️⃣ Make the crab cake mixture: In a bowl, gently mix crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayo, egg, Dijon, Old Bay, garlic powder, parsley, lemon juice, salt & pepper. Be careful not to break up the crab too much!
3️⃣ Form into cakes: Shape into 8-10 small patties and place on the prepared baking sheet.
4️⃣ Bake: Cook for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end!
5️⃣ Make the dipping sauce: Mix mayo, Dijon, lemon juice & hot sauce. Garnish with parsley.
6️⃣ Serve & enjoy!
Notes
✔️ Prefer a crispier texture? Lightly pan-sear before baking!
✔️ Want a spicy kick? Add cayenne or extra hot sauce! 🌶️
✔️ Serve over mixed greens or coleslaw for a full meal!
