Instructions
- Wash and Prep Strawberries:
Rinse strawberries under cold water and pat dry. Remove the green stems. - Cut into Hearts:
- Slice each strawberry in half lengthwise.
- Use a paring knife to carve a small “V” at the top where the stem was.
- Trim the bottom point for a sharper heart shape if needed.
- Optional Chocolate Dipping:
- Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Insert a skewer or toothpick into the bottom of the heart for easy handling.
- Dip the strawberries halfway into the chocolate and place them on parchment paper to set.
- Decorate with sprinkles or crushed nuts before the chocolate hardens, if desired.
- Serve and Enjoy:
Arrange the strawberry hearts on a plate, use them as dessert garnishes, or package them in a gift box for Valentine’s Day.
