This DIY Nutella is vegan, refined sugar-free, and incredibly delicious. Once you try it, you’ll never go back to store-bought! Give it a whirl and let your taste buds dance!
Ingredients
- 2 cups hazelnuts (240g)
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup sweetener of choice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk of choice or 2 tbsp oil (optional)
Instructions
1️⃣ If hazelnuts aren’t roasted, preheat oven to 400°F and bake for 6-8 minutes until lightly browned.
2️⃣ Rub them in a paper towel to remove skins (it’s okay if some stay on).
3️⃣ Blend hazelnuts in a food processor until smooth (this may take up to 20 minutes).
4️⃣ Add cocoa, sweetener, vanilla, and salt—blend until creamy.
5️⃣ For extra smoothness, add milk or oil.
