Ingredients
✔️ 8 oz (225 g) ground beef
✔️ 1 cup broccoli, chopped 🥦
✔️ 1 cup cooked quinoa
✔️ 3 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
✔️ 1 ½ tbsp tamari sauce (or soy sauce)
✔️ 2 green onions, chopped
✔️ 1 carrot, chopped 🥕
✔️ 1 tbsp olive oil
✔️ Salt & pepper to taste
✨ Optional but tasty:
✔️ A pinch of red pepper flakes 🌶️
✔️ 1 cup chopped spinach
✔️ 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the beef 🔥
- In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until almost fully cooked. Cover if needed.
2️⃣ Add aromatics 🧄
- Stir in olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté until fragrant.
3️⃣ Incorporate the veggies 🥦
- Add broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in tamari sauce, then stir in the carrot, green onions, and quinoa.
4️⃣ Final touches 🍽
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more tamari sauce if needed.
- Stir in spinach and cilantro, mix well, and turn off the heat.
