  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 packet (0.87 oz) brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 bag (12 oz) wide egg noodles

Instructions

1️⃣ Start the water: Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil while preparing the beef mixture.

2️⃣ Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble the ground beef with onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.

3️⃣ Make the sauce: Whisk the brown gravy mix with 1 cup cold water and pour it into the beef mixture. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until smooth. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

4️⃣ Cook the noodles: Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain (but don’t rinse!).

5️⃣ Combine & Serve: Stir the noodles and dried parsley into the beef mixture. Mix well and serve warm.
