Ingredients
✔️ 8 oz (220g) ground beef
✔️ 3 cups red or green cabbage, chopped 🥬
✔️ 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
✔️ 1 carrot, cut into strips 🥕
✔️ 3 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
✔️ 2 scallions, finely chopped
✔️ 1 ½ tbsp tamari sauce (or soy sauce)
✔️ 1 tbsp olive oil
✔️ 3 tbsp chopped parsley or cilantro 🌿
✔️ 2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional for heat 🌶️)
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Ground Beef 🥩
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef with 1 minced garlic clove and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring to break apart.
2️⃣ Chop & Prep Veggies 🌿
- While the beef is cooking, chop cabbage, carrots, peppers, parsley (or cilantro), and scallions.
3️⃣ Add the Veggies 🥕
- Stir in cabbage, crushed red pepper, carrot, another minced garlic clove, and scallions.
- Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes to soften.
4️⃣ Flavor Boost 🥢
- Add red bell pepper, last garlic clove, and tamari sauce.
- Stir well, adding a little more oil if needed, and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
5️⃣ Final Touch 🌿
- Turn off the heat and stir in chopped parsley or cilantro.
