1 bunch thin asparagus spears, trimmed

3 tbsp olive oil

1 ½ tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1 clove garlic, minced (optional)

¼ tsp sea salt, or to taste

½ tsp black pepper, or to taste

1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Toss asparagus in olive oil in a mixing bowl.

Sprinkle with Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper if using.

Arrange in a single layer in a baking dish.

Roast 12–15 mins, until tender.

Just before serving, add a splash of lemon juice.
