For the Brownies:

  • 5 oz semi-sweet chocolate (chopped)
  • 2 oz unsalted butter
  • 7 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temp)
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅛ tsp baking powder
  • ⅛ tsp salt

For the Frosting & Decoration:

  • 2 ½ tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (room temp)
  • 1 ¼ cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • Chocolate eggs for topping

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Brownies:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a small baking pan.
  • Melt 2.5 oz chocolate with butter.
  • Whisk eggs & sugar for 2 minutes, then mix in vanilla.
  • Combine with melted chocolate, then fold in flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt & remaining chocolate chunks.
  • Bake for 21-24 min until crackly on top. Cool completely.

2️⃣ Make the Frosting:

  • Melt butter, whisk in cocoa powder until smooth.
  • Add salt, vanilla & milk, then whisk in powdered sugar.
  • Spread over brownies while warm for a smooth finish.

3️⃣ Decorate & Serve:

  • Top with chocolate eggs, press gently, and let set.
  • Cut into 10 squares and enjoy!
