  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ⅓ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup chocolate candies (Easter M&M’s & mini Cadbury eggs), divided

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
2️⃣ Melt butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Stir in sugars, then mix in vanilla and egg.
3️⃣ Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then add to butter mixture.
4️⃣ Fold in chocolate chips and ½ cup of candies. Save the rest for later.
5️⃣ Spread dough into prepared pan and smooth the top.
6️⃣ Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
7️⃣ Press remaining candies onto the cake while warm. Let cool before slicing.
