Ingredients
200g milk or dark chocolate, chopped
150g kataifi pastry (shredded phyllo dough)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
300g pistachio cream
1 tbsp tahini (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
White chocolate for drizzle (optional)
Instructions
Prep Kataifi: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread out kataifi on a tray, drizzle with melted butter, and bake 10–15 mins until golden. Cool.
Make Filling: Mix cooled kataifi with pistachio cream, tahini, and sea salt.
Melt Chocolate: Use a double boiler to melt chocolate until smooth.
Assemble Bars: Coat molds with melted chocolate. Chill 10 mins. Add filling, then cover with more chocolate. Smooth the tops.
Chill: Refrigerate 1 hour until fully set.
Decorate (Optional): Drizzle with melted white chocolate. Let bars sit at room temp a few mins before serving.
