For the Chicken:

  • 2 large boneless chicken breasts (cut into 4 cutlets)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp butter

For the Ranch Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1.5 tbsp ranch seasoning

Instructions

1️⃣ Cut each chicken breast horizontally into 2 cutlets.
2️⃣ Mix garlic powder, herbs, salt, and pepper, then season both sides of the chicken.
3️⃣ Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan and cover.
4️⃣ In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in flour and cook for another 30 seconds.
5️⃣ Slowly whisk in chicken stock to create a smooth sauce.
6️⃣ Lower the heat, then add sour cream and ranch seasoning, whisking until combined. Turn off heat.
7️⃣ Add chicken back to the pan, spoon the sauce over it, and serve!
