Ingredients
✅ 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
✅ Salt and freshly ground black pepper
✅ 1 tbsp olive oil
✅ 2 tbsp butter
✅ 4 cloves garlic, minced
✅ ¼ cup shallot, diced
✅ ½ cup chicken broth
✅ 1 tbsp lemon juice
✅ ½ tsp dried thyme
✅ ¼ cup heavy cream
Instructions
1️⃣ Pat chicken dry and pound to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Melt butter in the same pan. Sauté garlic and shallots for 1 minute.
4️⃣ Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and thyme. Simmer for 5 minutes.
5️⃣ Stir in heavy cream, then return chicken to the pan. Simmer on low for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked (165°F).
