Chocolate Dipped Brownie Hearts: The Perfect Valentine’s Day Treat

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boxes Family-Sized Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownies
  • 6 eggs
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1½ cups Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Wafers
  • Heart sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a jelly roll pan (15.5” x 10.5”) with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, combine brownie mixes, water, oil, and eggs. Mix by hand until smooth, then fold in chocolate chips.
3️⃣ Spread the batter evenly into the pan and bake for about 30 minutes. Be careful not to overbake!
4️⃣ Once cooled, cut heart shapes out of the brownies. Avoid the edges for clean cuts. Freeze hearts for 30 minutes.
5️⃣ Melt the chocolate wafers in a small bowl. Dip one side of the brownie hearts into the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off, and place on a cooling rack.
6️⃣ Sprinkle with heart sprinkles immediately, as the chocolate will set quickly on the cold brownies.
7️⃣ Store in an airtight container or wrap individually for a delightful Valentine’s Day surprise!
