Ingredients
12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pesto (store-bought or homemade)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice the rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
Mix chicken, pesto, and mayo in a bowl.
Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased baking dish.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly, top with mozzarella, then cover with the roll tops.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush over the tops.
Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 5 more minutes until golden and melty.
Slice and serve warm!
