Tender beef cubes, crisp-tender carrots, and bright broccoli are all coated in a savory glaze and finished with a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added crunch. Ingredients
• 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, cubed
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 2 large carrots, thinly sliced
• 1 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• 1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional)
• 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Sesame seeds for garnish (white & black)
Instructions
Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add beef and sear until browned on all sides, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger (if using) for 1 minute.
Add carrots and cook for 3 minutes, then add broccoli and a splash of water to steam for another 3–4 minutes.
Return beef to pan. Add soy sauce, honey, and vinegar. Stir to coat and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve, or portion into containers for meal prep.
