BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Ingredients

• 1½ lbs ground beef
• 1 cup quick-cooking oats
• 6½ oz evaporated milk
• ¾ cup chopped onion (divided)
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1 tbsp chili powder
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ¼ tsp black pepper

For the BBQ Glaze:
• 1 cup ketchup
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 tbsp liquid smoke
• ¼ tsp minced garlic
• Remaining ¼ cup chopped onion


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking dish.

Mix beef, oats, milk, ½ cup onion, egg, and seasonings in a bowl.

Form into 1½-inch meatballs and place in a single layer in the dish.

In a separate bowl, mix glaze ingredients. Pour over meatballs.

Bake uncovered for 1 hour, or until meatballs reach 160°F inside.
