Texas Trash Pie: The Ultimate Sweet & Salty Treat!

  • Author: therecipemingle

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 frozen deep-dish pie crust (9 or 10-inch)
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pretzels, coarsely crushed
  • 1 cup graham crackers, coarsely crushed
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 cup Kraft caramel bits
  • 1/2 cup (8 tbsp.) butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Adjust the oven rack to the second-to-lowest position.
  • Melt butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • Coarsely crush the pretzels and graham crackers. (Tip: Keep the pieces chunky for added crunch!)
  • In a large bowl, mix together all the filling ingredients: chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, graham crackers, coconut, pecans, caramel bits, butter, and condensed milk. Stir until blended.
  • Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and set.
Check at 25-30 minutes; if it’s browning too fast, cover the top with foil.
  • Let the pie cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
