  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (½ of an 8-oz package)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup pink or white sanding sugar or nonpareils
  • 18 Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses

  1. Preheat Oven & Prep:
    • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix Dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, use a hand or stand mixer to beat together the cookie mix, softened cream cheese, and egg until a soft dough forms.
  3. Prepare Sugar Coating:
    • Place pink or white sanding sugar (or nonpareils) in a shallow bowl.
  4. Shape Cookies:
    • Using a 1½ tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop balls of dough and roll them gently in the sugar or nonpareils until coated. Then, shape into smooth balls.
    • Tip: If the dough is too sticky to handle, chill it in the refrigerator or freezer for 30-60 minutes for easier rolling.
  5. Bake Cookies:
    • Place cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1½ inches apart.
    • Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  6. Add Strawberry Kisses:
    • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes, then gently press an unwrapped Hershey’s Strawberry Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  7. Cool & Serve:
    • Transfer cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely or enjoy them warm with the melted chocolate center.
