Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Heart-shaped sprinkles or candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on the baking sheet. Gently press each cookie and top with sprinkles or candies.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy with a warm cup of milk or coffee!
